And now, make-up artists have revealed the exact products used to give top Hollywood actresses their red carpet glow.
They include products by well-known brands – such as Chanel’s Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick, priced at £31, and NAR’s Wanted Cheek Palette, which is due to hit stores later this month.
This year’s Oscars also saw newer brands being used on the red carpet – including the cult make-up brand Glossier.

Sienna Miller, 36, displayed a sophisticated make-up look that complemented her 1920s style waves at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
Her make-up artist Kate Lee explained how she had used Chanel’s Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick in 40 La Sensuelle, priced at £31, to create her statement pout.
She also used an array of other products by Chanel, including the brand’s Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation, priced at £36, along with Shishedo’s Paperlight Cream Eye Color, priced at 19.80.
MARGOT ROBBIE
Margot Robbie was another actress that went for a classic look for this year’s Oscars, where she was up for the Best Actress prize.
Make-up artist Pati Dubroff revealed the 27-year-old, who has just been announced as a Chanel ambassador, wore make-up products by the famous French brand on her big night.
Pati used Chanel’s Ombre Premiere eyeshadow in Titaine, priced at £26, along with the Rouge Coco lipstick in 432 Cecile, priced at £31.
Margot’s natural glow was also complemented by Chanel’s Poudre Lumiere highlighting powder in 10 Ivory Gold, available to buy for £42.

Make-up artist Daniel Martin later revealed how he used a mix of Dior’s Lacquer Lipstick and Lacquer Plump in Neon Magenta in order to create the strong look.
The lipstick is available to buy at £27, while the lacquer plump is due out later this month.
KATE BOSWORTH
Kate Bosworth looked radiant on the red carpet, with a fresh make-up look.
Her make-up artist Pati Dubroff revealed that the 35-year-old was wearing Chanel’s Rouge Allure Velvet in 64 First Light, priced at £31, on her lips.
She also wore Chanel’s Les Beige Eye Palette in Deep, priced at £45.
