The Bachelor’s Snezana Markoski gave birth to her second daughter Willow less than five months ago.
And on Tuesday, her fiancé Sam Wood praised the reality TV star’s commitment to fitness by pointing out how good she looked during their recent ‘date night’ at the Melbourne Fashion Festival.
But shortly after sharing his thoughts on Instagram, Sam faced criticism from fans who suggested his comments weren’t particularly ‘helpful’ to other new mothers.

Sam captioned the photo of himself and Snezana: ‘Date night @vamff with this sexy woman (that can I add, had Willow less than 5 months ago)’.
While attending the Festival, Snezana flashed her toned midriff in a $290 bandeau top and matching black flared trousers, which retail for $2,390.
She also added a splash of colour with a striped Balmain cardigan worth $1840.

The fashionista completed her look with a $1,840 Yves Saint Laurent handbag.
While Sam only had the best intentions by posting the photo of the couple, some of his followers weren’t so impressed.

In response, another follower wrote: ‘Yep, agreed – and this kind of post doesn’t help.
‘Oh well, he does have a fitness business to promote I guess a fiancée with lumps and bumps wouldn’t be a good look.’
Others remarked that Snezana’s post-baby body was ‘unrealistic’ and that she was promoting the idea ‘women are expected to be thin models after childbirth’.
However, the 28 By Sam Wood founder quickly rushed in to defend Snezana.

‘I’m purely happy for my beautiful fiancée,’ he wrote.
‘I am always the first to say that every woman and pregnancy is completely different and (they) should do things at their pace when they do or don’t feel like it.
‘I have made sure I’ve supported Snez without any pressure every day.’
Snezana is also a mother to 12-year-old daughter Eve from a previous relationship.
The Bachelor 2015 couple welcomed Willow last October.
