A 41-year-old woman has been arrested after an eight-year-old boy died south of Melbourne.
The child’s body was found at a home on Alma Street in Tootgarook, Victoria, shortly after 1.30pm on Thursday.
The arrested woman and child knew each other, Victoria Police said.
It is not clear how the boy died, but his death is being treated as suspicious.
Police are not looking for any other suspects.
