The world’s first swingers campsite in central France has been put on the market for about £1.7 million.
‘First 100 percent libertine campsite in the world for sale. Incredible opportunity with over 20 million libertines identified in northern Europe and 6.5 million in France,’ Thelocal.fr quoted estate agents as saying.
Agents said the park – near the spa resort of Vichy – ‘promises to be a good investment given France’s and indeed northern Europe’s booming libertine community’.

Reviews of the campsite are mixed with some describing it as a paradise where you can ‘forget your daily problems’ while others complain of the fearsome pitbull dog who roams the campsite to keep ‘security’.
Others complain about the strict rules, not so much those that demand women are respected, but regulations which stipulate that there can only be a certain number of single men allowed at any one time. Some have complained that the ban on sex in the swimming pool is routinely ignored.
Estate agent Lynn Chaulieu from Leggett Immobilier said any buyer would be foolish not to run it as a libertine site given its business potential.
‘It has just totally boomed since it became a swingers campsite,’ she told The Local.
Another swingers campsite opened in April last year. Le Diamant Noir in the southwestern Dordogne region promised to serve up a range of onsite activities including ‘naughty games’ and ‘muscle awareness water aerobics’.
Le Diamant Noir in the southwestern Dordogne region has proved a big success since it opened last year
Owner Bruno Mazaferro, who set up the park with his wife Sandra, said his aim was to make swingers holidays more affordable with overnight stays at his site starting from about £20.
He was fully booked over Easter and summer last year and is optimistic the trend would continue.
On the entertainment front, along with ‘naughty games’ and heart-pounding water aerobics, the campsite also hosted nightly parties where underwear was optional.
