Laura Cuenca identified as woman in Odell Beckham Jr drugs video

The woman who appeared in a scandalous video with Odell Beckham Jr has been identified as an aspiring French Instagram model.

Laura Cuenca was identified as the woman in bed with the New York Giants wide receiver, holding a credit card by suspicious white powder as he puffed on a brown ‘cigarette’.

The video was shot on March 8 at the Four Seasons George V off the Champs-Élysées in Paris, Cuenca told the New York Post.

‘I do not remember all of the evening, only that we met in a bar and then found ourselves at a hotel and we had passed the night together,’ she said.

Cuenca said she met Beckham at the Le Queen nightclub. ‘He left the morning [after] to take his planes for Madrid,’ she said.

In the seven second video, likely first posted on Snapchat, Beckham, 25, can be heard telling the woman ‘Trying to get you to sleep with…’, before the clip cuts out.

The pair appear to be sitting on a bed, with a medium-sized pepperoni pizza in front of them. 

It remains unknown who filmed the video, which leaked on Friday night, or when or where it was filmed. 

The Giants and NFL both acknowledged the existence of the video that began circulating Friday while Beckham was in Europe on a Nike-sponsored trip.

‘We’re aware of the video, but we don’t have any comment beyond that,’ a spokesperson for the Giants told ESPN.com. 

Beckham, 25, is entering the fifth and final year of his rookie deal worth $8.5 million. 

He is involved in ongoing talks about a contract extension with the Giants, whose owner John Mara said he wants Beckham to be a Giant for life.  

Cuenca said she met Beckham at the Le Queen nightclub. ‘He left the morning [after] to take his planes for Madrid,’ she said.

The New York Giants are aware of the video. Beckham has been in Los Angeles during the offseason rehabilitating his ankle 

Beckham, who suffered an ankle surgery during Week 5 of the NFL 2017 season, has been in Los Angeles undergoing rehabilitation and checking in with the team. 

The video comes just hours after speculation began on just how much money the star player could earn after Mike Evans’ historic contract with Tampa Bay.

The Buccaneers player scored a five-year $82.5million contract with the Florida team, the highest a receiver has ever earned in league history, according to NorthJersey.com. 

Many speculated that Beckham, who will be paid $8.459million next year on his rookie contract, could receive as much as $100million with his next deal.

It remains unknown how the video could affect his asking price – if at all.

But this isn’t the first time Beckham has gotten into trouble.

He also reportedly banged his head against the wall in anger after the season-ending Wild Card playoff game. 

And just a week before that, Beckham banged his head into a door and screamed after the Giants’ 19-24 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16. 

It was reported that Beckham had to be escorted into the locker room by John Mara.

He also angered the Giants’ co-owner earlier this year when he pretended to pee like a dog while celebrating a touchdown against the Eagles in September. 

‘What he did was completely unacceptable,’ Mara said. ‘I told him that in no uncertain terms’. 

Mara and the team have yet to issue a statement on Beckham’s video and the player has not commented on it.
