The Queen and other members of the Royal Family who drive will soon have to contend with speed cameras on the Sandringham estate.
The yellow cameras, which record average speed and number plates, are to be erected on an eight-mile section of the A149 – half of which passes through or beside the 20,000-acre estate in Norfolk.

The Queen and Prince Philip are regular drivers in the area. Prince William, who has a high-powered motorcycle, and wife Kate also use the road, which is close to their country home, Anmer Hall.
The six cameras will be activated this summer after a spate of accidents on the route.
