And realestate.com.au revealed on Monday that one of the House Rules fixer uppers is a two-bedroom home in Sydney’s southeast.
The Rosebery estate has been given an epic transformation, increasing its market value from $1.25 million to $1.6 million.

The original property, purchased by Channel Seven in September last year, took on a modest feel, with a white exterior, dated brown tiles and a brick fence.
A moderately-sized kitchen featured a retro green bench-top, simplistic carpentry and vinyl floors.
Wooden slats led out onto a concrete space, boasting just a clothes line and corrugated iron shack.

However fast forward seven months, and the property has been bulldozed and replaced with a two-storey, four-bedroom, two-bathroom abode.
The new exterior takes on a grey and black colour palette with polished timber and a stylish pergola.
Those with a passion for all things domestic, can make use of a modern kitchen, containing state-of-the-art appliances, a marble island, glossy tiles and black stools.

Last year’s season of House Rules saw Gold Coast-based parents Aaron and Daniella take home the hefty cash prize of $200,000.

Following their victory, the lucky couple described their win as ‘surreal’ in an interview with news.com.au.
‘Even at two o’clock this morning, I woke Aaron up and said, “Do you know we’ve just won?”,’ an elated Daniella recalled to the publication.
Referencing their increased bank balance, Aaron added: ‘To think this morning we’ve got another 200,000 reasons to be a bit happier, it’s unreal.’
