With their fists raised to their chest, the two seem anxious to land a shot on the other, with the bus driver at one point lunging at the underage teenager with an open hand.
Suddenly, another boy, dressed in a grey hoodie, steps into screen and hits the bus driver square in the jaw with a sucker punch from behind, leading the motorist to black out and fall to the ground.
The condition of the driver following the incident remains unknown and its unclear if he was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries.
The Columbus City School District said in a statement that the incident began after a number of students attempted to board a bus that they are not assigned to, according to NBC affiliate WCMH 4.
The district said that it has opened an investigation into the incident. The Columbus City School District has not disciplined the bus driver so far.
