Etsy has been selling greetings cards branded ‘thoughtless and irresponsible’ for making fun of child abuse.
The online store has been retailing cards which depict Josef Fritzl and Jimmy Savile.
Also being sold are drawings of disabled Harvey Price, and cards with illustrations of disgraced mother Karen Matthews, who plotted her own daughter’s kidnap.
On the card with Harvey Price drawn on the front, it simply has the phrase ‘Happy Birthday you c**t’ written on it, alluding to his alleged swearing. Harvey is autistic and blind.

The illustrator of the card, Sam Hague, shared a picture of the card on Facebook, with the caption: ‘I’m DEFINITELY going to hell. Sorry Katie Price.’
Other cards include drawings of child abuser Josef Frtizel, and paedophile Jimmy Savile.
The cards have enraged social media users, with one commenting: ‘Think it’s terrible that this we girl has to grow up and see s*** like this all the time… terrible constant reminder that she has a monster for a mother.’

Another added: ‘It’s sick. Who would find this s*** funny?’
The father-of-one, who is based in Derbyshire, defended his cards: ‘I choose to express myself through comedy and art.
‘I obviously do not condone any acts of child abuse whatsoever’, reports The Sun Online.
‘It’s better to find humour in despicable acts and remember what happened rather than stick your head in the sand and forget about it.’
A spokesperson for the NSPCC said: ‘Using the trauma of child abuse to sell these vile greetings cards is thoughtless and irresponsible’
The card with Harvey Price on it has been taken down, but the 29-year-old says this is due to the swearword which is visible in the preview online.
A spokesperson for the NSPCC said: ‘Using the trauma of child abuse to sell these vile greetings cards is thoughtless and irresponsible.
‘We would urge this seller to reconsider and to remove these cards from sale immediately.’
MailOnline have contacted Etsy for comment.
