Bristol woman sells ‘death trap’ car online with hilarious advert

A woman desperate to get rid of her ‘bag of s***’ car has finally managed to sell it – despite describing it as ‘nothing but bad luck’ in a hilariously honest advert.

Danniella Edwards, from Bristol, posted the ad for her car earlier this week, saying it was covered in dents because of her ex-partner and that it was leaking some ‘gooey and yellow’ liquid.

The 20-year-old, who bought the 2007 plate Peugeot 207 in January, wrote: ‘[The] clutch is basically gone because for some reason when I’m driving and I don’t even press the gas pedal it bloody races itself [sic].

‘[I’m] pretty sure the head gasket has gone as well, what a shock! [It] has gone all gooey and yellow.

‘It has no passenger window because of my ex. It is covered in dents, yet again because of my ex. It had a brand new battery two months ago (the only new thing/decent thing).

‘[I] think the electrics are going because I spend £10 a week on bloody replacing them and no matter how often I do a new one goes each week.

‘Quick sell as this car is nothing but bad luck and a bag of s***.

‘You can drive away today in it if you can bare the bloody annoying sound of the clingfilm blowing away in the wind and no matter how loud your music is you still hear it.’

Although the clutch is gone and a gooey and yellow liquid is leaking out, the car has some positives as it still has nine months left on the MOT

Ms Edwards did manage to find some positives to highlight in the advert for the ‘207 death trap’.

Apparently the car – which had clocked up an impressive 102,000 miles – had nine months’ worth of MOT and three months of tax.

Her advert attracted plenty of attention online after the post went viral and now she’s finally sold off her car.

Posting after someone enquired about her motor, she wrote: ‘I sold it! God knows how, but I did!’

It is unclear how much her car sold for, or who bought it, but her advert asked for a minimum of £200.

According to the advert the only decent thing about the car is the new battery she bought two months ago
