Jaw-dropping footage shows a pilot perform a near vertical take-off in a 70-tonne plane before circling round in an incredible display of agility.
Soaring into the air at an almost 90-degree angle, the Airbus A400M looks as if it is about to do a backward somersault during the impressive maneuver.
The astonishing clip was filmed at the Royal International Air Tattoo air show in Gloucestershire.
The footage begins with the plane, which weighs about 76 tonnes, gradually building up speed as it zooms down the runway.
It then flawlessly takes off and within seconds the pilot maneuvers it into a near-vertical angle.
He then steers smoothly to the right, gliding high above the airfield.

The Royal International Air Tattoo is the world’s largest military air show.
It is held every year in July at the Royal Air Force base in the town of Fairford, Gloucestershire.
