Roma have been charged by UEFA for adjudged time-wasting by a ballboy during their Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk.

The boy was pushed over an advertising board by Shakhtar player Facundo Ferreyra after delaying the return of the ball late in Roma’s 1-0 win on Tuesday.

The Shakhtar man felt the boy held on to the ball for far too long, to the detriment of his side’s efforts to remain in European football’s elite competition.
