TV presenter Dale Winton has died aged 62, his agent has confirmed.
The Supermarket Sweep host passed away at his home earlier on Wednesday.
His long-term agent Jan Kennedy said in a statement: ‘It is with great sadness that we can confirm the passing of Dale Winton who died at home earlier today.
‘While we know many will share this terrible loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this time of grief.’

No other information surrounding his death was released.
Winton had spoken about some of his health problems which had plagued him in what would be one of his final interview, and why he had taken time away from TV.
Speaking to the TV Times, he said: ‘I’ve kept a low profile because I had about four surgeries.
‘I had a shoulder problem and a knee problem, so I took a break to get myself sorted.’
He had previously spoken about his battle with depression following a difficult break up while appearing on the Loose Women show in 2016.
The TV star is well known for being the host of the show Dale’s Supermarket Sweep and also the National Lottery’s In It To Win It.
Supermarket Sweep was a popular show through the nineties on ITV, running from 1993 through to 2001.
The show was briefly revived during a short stint between February 2007 and August 2007.
Most recently, the tanned star made a show for Channel 5, Dale Winton’s Florida Fly Drive.
It is unclear whether the final four episodes will air in June after Channel 5 decided to pull the second episode out of the schedule following the deadly shooting at a Florida high school which killed 17 people.

Expressing his condolences on Twitter, Piers Morgan tweeted: ‘RIP Dale Winton, 62. Very sad news. A warm, funny man & superb TV presenter.’
Davina McCall tweeted: ‘I am so so so sad to hear about Dale Winton.
‘A lovely, warm, kind, sensitive, generous soul with a touch of naughty! RIP.’
Frank Bruno added: ‘Very sad to hear that Dale Winton has passed away, to to young, my thoughts are with his family.’
Jack Whitehall tweeted: ‘Desperately sad news about Dale Winton. A really funny and kind person gone too soon, RIP.’
Duncan Bannatyne added: ‘RIP the great entertainer Dale Winton. So young as 62.’
Sky News presenter Kay Burley wrote: ‘RIP Dale Winton. He was 62.’

Winton – one of Cilla Black’s most trusted and loyal friends – was born in 1955 in Marylebone, London.
He was the son of an actress mother and Jewish furniture salesman.
His parents divorced when he was ten-years-old, and his father then died three years later on the day of his bar mitzvah.
Just days after his 21st birthday, he found his mother had died after taking an overdose.
Winton came out as gay in his autobiography in 2002, and said in an interview in 2008 that he had not come out earlier because no one had asked about his sexual orientation.
