Zinedine Zidane insists he wants to stay at Real Madrid regardless of whether his side win the Champions League this season.
Much has been made of the Frenchman’s time at the Bernabeu, with some suggesting he could be sacked with Real well off the pace in La Liga.
On a European front, though, his side are thriving again and are just two games away from a third successive Champions League triumph.

Real Madrid have struggled in La Liga but are in reach of third straight Champions League final
Speaking ahead of his side’s semi-final second leg with Bayern Munich, Zidane told the Real Madrid website: ‘My future is independent of that (Champions League success).
‘Today I am the coach of the club and I want to continue like this, but this is not important and we are only focused on the match and how to prepare for that.’
Real are 2-1 up on aggregate ahead of their game against Bayern at the Bernabeu, and a draw would be enough to book their place in the final, against either Liverpool or Roma.
Despite that, Zidane insists his side will be going for a win on home turf.

In La Liga, though, Lionel Messi and Co at Barcelona have romped to another easy league title
‘We want to go out and win the game and we do not want to take any risks, to play on the back foot or do anything strange,’ he continued.
‘We want to go out and get an early goal because we know the importance of this game and that it’s a semi-final, we know what we must do.
‘Success is what drives us all on – me, the fans, the club and our team.’
