A scene from a new documentary on a controversial beauty pageant shows the awkward moment contestants are told to seduce a man.
During preparation for the Miss Lebanon Australia pageant, teenage entrants were informed they needed to practice their seduction techniques on their dance teacher.
With the instructor sitting in a chair in front of them, the contestants heard they would need to be able to seduce the judges if they wanted a chance of winning.

‘Pageant girls need to look sexy, the energy has to be sexy, you have to charm the judges,’ one of the pageant’s ‘Glam Squad’ told the seven finalists.
‘The only way you’ll get the crown is by seducing this guy [the seated dance instructor.’
Rana, an 18-year-old contestant then approached the pretend judge and walked behind him while he broke into a smile.
The women were also taught to walk with their heads held high and eyes facing the front, practice the royal wave, and prepare for tough questions.

The contestants were filmed during their pageant preparations for a documentary called Lebanese Beauty Queens, which aired on SBS on Wednesday night.
They were all hoping to be crowned Miss Lebanon Australia, winning a spot in the Miss Lebanon Emigrant beauty pageant in Beirut.
Miss Lebanon Australia was founded by Joe Khoury 18 years ago, but has struggled since controversy erupted over the winner in 2016.
Mary Mehajer took first prize, but was accused of winning because the event was sponsored by her brother Salim, the disgraced former deputy mayor of Auburn.
Mr Khoury told Daily Mail Australia the judges are carefully selected from outside the Lebanese-Australian community to make sure they are impartial.
‘The contestants do not meet the real judges until the night of the event,’ he said.
‘We all work very hard on to make the pageant a great success, and it means a lot to everyone involved.’
Ms Mehajer won fair and square, he said, and he was supported by event stylist Zooka Alameddine, who credited Mary’s victory to her natural beauty.
