A music teacher who allegedly assaulted a young student during multiple private violin lesson has been charged.
Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad investigated reports a six-year-old girl was indecently assaulted by her violin teacher in Sydney’s north.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man at Redfern Police Station about 1pm on Friday.

It will be alleged the man indecently assaulted the girl on numerous occasions during private violin lessons at an after-school facility (stock image)
He was charged with 20 counts of indecent assault of person under 16 years and was refused bail.
It will be alleged the man indecently assaulted the girl on numerous occasions during private violin lessons at an after-school facility at Denistone East.
The man’s employment has since been suspended and he will appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
