A white Lamborghini crashed into a traffic camera on Melbourne’s south on Friday afternoon.

The luxury car, estimated to be worth $200,000, was badly damaged when pieces of the vehicle went flying into the air. 

The 30-year-old male driver miraculously walked away without injuries, Victorian police said.

‘It is alleged a white Lamborghini lost control on City Road and crashed into a fixed speed camera pole at the intersection of Montague Street just after 4pm,’ Victorian police said in a statement. 

Local Grayden Park, 33, heard a big bang and screeching tyres from his nearby backyard, news.com.au reported. 

‘We were outside in the backyard and we heard someone powering around the corner,’ he said.

‘Then screeching tyres and then a big bang and another bang.’
