Organising your fridge can be tricky, especially when you’re dealing with one that isn’t very big.
There are often containers full of leftovers, vegetables, half-used sauces and cartons of milk taking up most of the space.
But one homeowner has come up with a simple but clever trick to help you make the most of the room you already have – and all you need is chopsticks.
One Reddit user has come up with a simple trick that is meant to help you make the most of the space that you do have using chopsticks
The tip was shared on Reddit – and hopefully this means people can stop battling the contents of their fridge by taking on this new hack.
All you have to do is put two chopsticks across a bowl to sit another one on top for more space.
The added bonus? The food inside the crockery beneath won’t get damaged.
Of course chopsticks aren’t the only things that will work, as plates could be slipped in between the bowls as well, or if you can afford it, purchasing containers will work even better.
You don’t need to chuck out any meals or ingredients that might be taking up too much room as they revealed how chopsticks can help you stack bowls in the fridge

Some people take their fridge organisation to the next level, such as Adelaide blogger Iryana Federico, 26, who shared a look inside the fridge of every organised person’s dreams.
Earlier this year FEMAIL spoke to her about her clean and organised fridge and shared her tips on recreating it yourself at home.
‘Anything that I use regularly, I keep in OXO greensavers. These things are amazing; they keep your produce fresh for weeks and come with removable drainage baskets so you can come home from the grocery store, wash everything and put it away!’ she said

Iryna recommends investing in some decent containers – but she said you should spread this out over time as they can be pricey.
She particularly recommended glass containers which can go from fridge to freezer to oven – while they may be more expensive, they can be used in lieu of baking trays when busy.
Iryana also uses chalk pen to write dates and ingredients on the glass – make sure you get one which will come off in the dishwasher.
