Pennsylvanian town hosts ‘adult only show’

A small Pennsylvanian town held what may be the most pathetic ‘adult only show’ in America.

A handwritten sign advertised the ‘adult show’ at the Crossroads Cafe, in Hooversville – a small cafe off the highway.

Inside, a lone stripper pole stood in the corner of the cafe, so visitors could enjoy dinner and a ‘show’.

Crossroads Cafe ruffled some feathers when it announced it would be hosting an the evening of adult entertainment on Saturday.

With a population of just over 600, more than 180 signed a petition to stop the small, highway cafe from throwing the event.

Someone even scrawled ‘Jesus Saves’ across the sign for the cafe in protest.

‘They are making it trashy by vandalizing my property,’ Wayne Buffy, Crossroads Café owner, complained to WJAC.

‘I mean before it said crossroad cafe and that was okay and the sign is still there. But now they trashed on both sides of it. Leave Jesus’s name out of it. I don’t have anything against what they wrote, Jesus Saves that’s true.’

Buffy said that he plans to get a t-shirt with Jesus Saves across it as a sarcastic nod to the protesters.

He said he doesn’t understand why people were so upset.

‘We are not doing anything illegal. I mean we had a bar here, they didn’t call you people when we had the bar that would have been more advertisement.

‘But as soon as we say we are going to have some dancing girls to try to make a dollar now we are no good.’

The local mayor said that the main concerns came because the cafe is near to a children’s park which doesn’t close until 10pm.

Neighbors were less concerned, as long as it didn’t attract noisy drunks.
