Roma have been issued a £44,000 (€50,000) fine by footballing body UEFA for fan violence during last season’s Champions League campaign, which included the attack upon a Liverpool supporter at Anfield.
The Italian club have also been banned from selling tickets for their first away fixture of the 2018/19 European campaign.
A minority of Roma fans attacked Liverpool supporters outside Anfield before the semi final, first-leg game in April, during which Irish supporter Sean Cox was seriously injured.

The 53-year-old was left needing urgent medical treatment and was rushed to hospital on Merseyside where he was put into an induced coma following surgery to address a bleed on the brain.
Father-of-three Cox has since been taken back to Ireland but still remains in a critical condition.
UEFA have also punished two other clubs and ordered fines for further fan violence at during a Europa League fixture.
UEFA says it fined Spartak Moscow £48,000 (€55,000) and Athletic Bilbao must pay £35,000 (€40,000) for fan clashes during a Europa League game in February.
A Spanish policeman suffered a cardiac arrest and died during the crowd trouble.

Spartak have been banned from selling tickets to their next two away games in UEFA competitions as a result of the actions of supporters.
Spanish club Athletic have been ordered by UEFA to close a 2,000-seat section of their stadium at its next home game in European competition.
