Three women were caught slashing their ex-partners’ tyres out of anger using steak knives they bought from Kmart.

Earlier that night, the trio were exchanging stories on their past relationships.

Later on, they decided to buy the knives and proceeded to drive to their ex-partners’ homes in different suburbs.

One man’s car in East Geelong, a suburb in Victoria, was damaged, followed by another man’s car in Armstrong Creek.

During the second attack, witnesses quickly intervened.

When confronted, one of the women reportedly said that they were ‘stalking an ex’.

Police were also notified and arrived at the scene shortly after.

The following day, the women were called in for interview regarding the incident.

According to the Geelong Advertiser, the court heard that the estimated total of damages done to both cars amounted to over $600.

One of the women, Joanna Elliott, pleaded guilty to two counts of destroying property.

The Geelong Advertiser also reported that the court ordered Joanna to pay $500 for a ‘six-month good behaviour’ bond, despite the defence lawyer Shane Balkin’s argument that the act was ‘out of character’ for his client.

The court magistrate, John Lesser, said that all three women should split the payments for the damages done to the victims’ cars.

According to The Geelong Advertiser, the two other women have yet to face the court following Joanna’s hearing.

Upon hearing the case, Lesser reportedly said, ‘There’s a movie The First Wives Club. This sounds like a very poor version of that. What a stupid thing to do’.

Lesser was making a reference to a 1996 romantic comedy film on three middle-aged women who decided to make a revenge pact to get back at their ex-husbands.
