Tomas Rosicky brought to a close his decorated football career recently, with an all-star match in Prague consisting of a Czech XI facing off against a World XI.
The game’s final goalscorer however came as quite the surprise, and perhaps one of the youngest ever in world football.
As the match drew to a close Rosicky’s five-year old son, Dylan, was substituted on to join in with the action.

Desperate for his youngster to get among the goals, Rosicky hatched a plan to pick up his son and begin dribbling with the ball.
Opposition defenders feigned attempts to tackle the playmaker, before Rosicky got through on goal and dropped his son off in order to provide him with a chance on goal.
Goalkeeper Jens Lehmann was beaten as the youngster’s effort made its way into the back of the net through his legs, providing a heart-warming moment where both father and son celebrated.
The link-up between the two Rosickys clinched a 5-2 victory for his Czech side, against a World XI containing the likes of former Gunners Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy.

Speaking after the match, Rosicky admitted he was actually surprised the ultra-competitve Lehmann allowed his son’s shot to go in.
‘I was actually expecting Jens to save my son’s shot too! I’m glad he showed his human side as well.’
Rosicky had already had a penalty saved by his former German team-mate earlier in the contest.
‘Obviously it’s very emotional. It was great, I have to say, that I could share this moment with all the guys who came to play in the game and be here with me, so I have to say thank you to everyone who came here and made this occasion very special,’ Rosicky added.
