And Susan Carland marked the end of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The 38-year-old reflected on the time of fasting in the caption: ‘Saying farewell with a massive coffee.’

Susan shared an image of herself sitting in the backseat of her Uber ride, with a coffee flask in hand.
The social commentator wrote in the caption: ‘Sitting in the back of my Uber, saying farewell to Ramadan with what was a massive coffee.’
Susan continued: ‘Ramadan, you were like a soft blanket that fell over my weary shoulders and wrapped my tired soul in your gentle warmth. You emptied me out in the best of ways. I will miss you.’

No food or drink is to be consumed during those hours, however a meal is served before sunrise and after sunset.
During the month of spiritual reflection, Muslims are encouraged to not only refrain from food and drink, but also from selfish desire and wrong-doing.

Raised a Christian, Susan switched to the Baptist Church as a teenager, but later became a Muslim when she was 19.
Susan met Waleed when they were both 16, and the couple tied the knot in 2002.
When Waleed, 39, won the coveted Gold Logie in 2016 for Best Personality On Australian Television, he thanked his wife during his acceptance speech.
Susan and Waleed share two children, daughter Aisha, 14, and son Zayd, 10.
