Stoke have offered £10million for Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle.

The 27-year-old will be allowed to leave this summer and has been at the top of Stoke’s wishlist. 

Manager Gary Rowett is looking to pair him with Benik Afobe to form a prolific partnership though Stoke may have to increase their bid.

Andre Gray at Watford has also been discussed and Watford would consider offers around £15m.

Rowett also wants to add a winger with Cardiff City’s Junior Hoilett and Jordon Ibe of Bournemouth among those under consideration.

Meanwhile, Newcastle defender Chancel Mbemba is discussing a move to Porto.
