The men were seen at Broadway and Myrtle Avenue, the intersection below the subway station where a man fell on to the tracks on Tuesday, with police saying he may have also overdosed on K2.
Use of the synthetic drug is rampant in the area, and residents have taken to erecting ‘no smoking K2’ signs near their homes.
The NYPD has also set up a life safety systems division unit at the intersection to help deal with the growing crisis.

Footage taken during the incident shows the man dangling his hand through the above-ground slats, as others on the platform beg him to stay still.
Taiberious Carr, who filmed the event, said the man on the track’s face was electrocuted when he fell, causing his skin to burn.
Carr said multiple people called the police, but nobody jumped on to the tracks with him, as they did not want to be electrocuted.
‘I damn sure ain’t no paramedic but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out he was electrocuted from the third rail,’ he told commenters on his clip.
‘Yes it is K2 they smoke it everyday in that very subway.’
A spokesman for New York Police Department confirmed officers from the 83rd precinct were on site at the scene at Myrtle and Broadway station.
He said the man, 51, had fallen on the tracks ‘possibly after smoking K2’ and was taken to hospital.

K2 is a synthetic form of marijuana, which can cause horrific side effects leaving users acting like zombies.
The Myrtle Avenue and Broadway intersection has long been considered a hot spot for the synthetic drug, with use in the area reaching ‘epidemic’ proportions in 2016, NBC reported.
Selling the drug became illegal late in 2016, but many say K2 is still readily accessible.
