Julia Morris has blasted radio and television pundits for ‘victim-shaming’ the murdered comedian Eurydice Dixon.
Eurydice was raped and killed while walking through Princes Park in Melbourne in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday after performing at a stand-up gig.
And on Tuesday, fellow comedian Julia hit out at ‘idiotic’ broadcasters who she claimed were suggesting that Eurydice shouldn’t have been walking through the park at that hour.

‘We [comedians] work at night. We work around people who are drunk,’ Julia said on Hit 105’s Stav, Abby and Matt radio show on Tuesday.
‘So many people came out saying it’s not on that she was in the park at night. The victim-shaming was amazing,’ she added.
‘I was listening to some of the pundits on the radio and on the television saying stuff like, “Oh, not even I would go through that park at night”.’
