A British-born rollerskating duo made it through to the America’s Got Talent live shows with a hair-raising stunt that left Mel B unable to watch their performance.
Sibling skaters Billy and Emily England carried out a trick that saw Emily holding onto nothing but her brother’s beard while he spun her around in the air.
Tuesday night’s episode of AGT saw 20 acts competing for just seven spots in the live shows during the judges’ cuts round.

Laverne was given a golden buzzer with her guest judge seat and pressed it to send nine-year-old singing sensation Celine Tam through to the live shows.
Former Spice Girl Mel turned her seat around for the jaw-dropping climax of Emily grabbing hold of Billy’s, which they admitted was too painful to rehearse.
The stunt was made even more nerve-wracking when Emily revealed their aunt, world-renowned aerial silk star Eva Garcia, and uncle, trapeze artist Gilles Gonnerton, had both fallen to their deaths during extreme aerial acts.

The AGT audience roared with approval at the end of brother-sister performance, which saw Emily’s head spinning just inches away from the stage.
While crew members swept away strands of hair from Billy’s beard, Mel said she could tell the performance was incredible from the audience members’ faces.
Guest judge Laverne Cox, said: ‘It was so horrifying. If I put you through, what do you come back and do next and will America be having a heart attack?’
Heidi Klum gushed: ‘It’s the best act of the day, hands down.’

The 34-year-old has been compared to a real-life Billy Elliott after his father tried to discourage him from dancing when he was at school because he was worried he would be mocked.
Simon Cowell was on his feet after the larger than life dance routine to Bang Bang and Oscar’s parents – including his father – cheered from the audience.

‘Oscar is large and in charge,’ Laverne said. ‘The big thing about this show – and life – is that you have to hold onto your dreams. People have told me I cannot have my dreams, but you can have them. Do not ever give up on your dreams.’

Dance troupe Diavolo also made it through to the live shows, as did hip hop dance crew Brobots and Mandroidz.

While Diavolo’s members suffered a broken nose and some broken shoulders during rehearsals for their performance, Brobots and Mandroidz lost a few members of their group after their parents forced them to pull out and concentrate on school.
There was also success for ex-subway singer Mike Yung, who got one step closer to achieving his dream of playing at Madison Square Garden with a ticket to the live shows.
Mike, 56, sang his rendition of A Change Is Going to Come and Simon told him: ‘There are no age limits, there are no rules. I applaud the fact that you have paid your dues.’

Laverne added: ‘There is so much life experience in your voice.’
Comedian Preacher Lawson was overcome with emotion when Mel told him his laugh-a-minute act had won him a place in the live shows.
After his comedy routine, which saw Simon, Mel and Howie Mandel on their feet, Mel told him: ‘I did not want that to stop. My jaw is actually aching.’

Daredevil act Bello Nook failed to make the cut, despite performing a stunt which saw him being fired out of a cannon and over a helicopter.
The quirky 47-year-old chose the crazy stunt in a bid to impress Simon after he had received a lukewarm reception after his first audition.

While an ambulance waited nearby in case of emergencies, Simon said: ‘I’m not taking responsibility. I didn’t ask you to do this.’
After Bello landed successfully on the inflatable bulls eye, Simon and Heidi doubled over in relief.
‘You are a daredevil on steroids,’ Heidi said. ‘I was sick to my stomach.’
When Simon asked what was next should he make it to live shows, Bello quipped: ‘Let’s both get shot out of the cannon.’

It was also the end of the road for magic acts Tony vs Jordan, The Naked Magicians and South Korean Jeki Yoo, who was hoping AGT would be his ticket to America.
Jeki wept in the arms of his wife after learning he had failed to make it through and said: ‘This was my American dream and now I lost my dream.’
Saxophonist Herbie Russ, boy band 5 Alive and singing group Final draft sang their last notes on Tuesday’s show and were sent home in the judge’s cut.
Crowd favorites Aileen George and Jay Jay Phillips were also sent home, as was 12-year-old singer Marisa McKaye.
