This is the shocking moment a vicious fight occurs outside a Poundland store as people smash baskets at each other while terrified shoppers cower inside.

In the video, filmed at Bromley Shopping Mall in southeast London last night, a man dressed in a black shirt punches the head of a man in a grey top several times after knocking him to the fall.

He then proceeds to drag the man across the floor and kick his side in a brutal ongoing attack.

A woman wearing a large hat soon helps the grey-shirted man and begins to hit back against the other man.

Then the man in grey throws a bag at two men who appear to be wearing formal shirts – they respond by swinging metal shopping baskets.

The woman then starts throwing around another basket as she yells.

Eventually the brawl finishes and the group disperse.

The video has been viewed more than 1.1 million views in less than 24 hours. The incident occurred at around 6.30pm

A Poundland spokesperson said: ‘Our store in Bromley called police to a shoplifting incident on Friday evening,’ report the Mirror.

‘We’re aware of the video and are investigating precisely what happened at the store,’ he added.

He claimed police arrested two men while no staff members were detained. He could not say if staff members were involved in the brawl.

Posting a video on Facebook, Charlie Wouters said: ‘Stumbled across this Poundland royal rumble on my way back from gym.’

The video has been viewed more than 1.1 million views in less than 24 hours.
