At the age of 50, Kylie Minogue’s beauty certainly isn’t taking a trip south any time soon.
This is in no small part thanks to a dedicated skincare regime and a knowledge of what works for her 50-year-old skin.
From a $43 chemical exfoliator that helps to keep her complexion looking flawless to the one thing that Kylie swears by to fight the wrinkles, here FEMAIL takes a look at the pop star’s skincare secrets, as well as the three golden rules she follows on a daily basis.

The products she swears by
When it comes to her makeup and beauty bag, Kylie’s favourite products are surprisingly affordable.
Top of the list for the Australian beauty is the cult product, Alpha-H Micro Cleanse Super Scrub, which retails for $43 and has numerous fans around the world.
Kylie likes to use the product because it’s a gentle chemical exfoliant that helps to slew away any dead skin cells.
‘The ultimate morning-time wake up call, this “zingy” facial polish is infused with soothing cucumber and peppermint, alongside a cocktail of blemish-battling, line-lessening and free radical-fighting actives which works to “deep clean” lacklustre, congested complexions,’ the Adore Beauty website writes.
Alongside this, the pop star has previously told FEMAIL that she has for a long time been obsessed with Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser, which retails for just $7.99.
‘It’s all I really use to look after my skin. It’s such an old classic. My mum uses it and it really does work. It’s made such a difference,’ Kylie explained.
Elsewhere, she has countless times extolled the benefits of a good sunblock – dubbing it the ultimate wrinkle fighter – and a decent night cream, such as one from NuBo, where such products retail for as much as $213.

The three golden rules for great skin
Alongside her hero products, Kylie has also previously shared the three golden rules others should follow if they want great skin.
‘This is going to sound like a boring infomercial… [but] my tips would be sunblock, cleanse with a cloth, like a muslin [cloth]… I always take my makeup off; I’ve been wearing makeup for work for a long, long time [sic]], she told the UK TV programme, ITV’s Lorraine earlier this year.
Kylie’s three golden rules include daily sunblock (pictured), which she said she is ‘obsessive’ about
‘A good dermatologist, if you’ve got time to go, and have some treatments.’
In the past, the pop star has tried collagen wave facials – a procedure which sees patients blasted with radio frequency to tighten skin tissue, and plump up the face.
In 2016, it was reported that following a course of six initial treatments with celebrity dermatologist Nilam Patel, Kylie was then put on a ‘maintenance’ program which sees her having an hour-long session every few months.
A friend of Kylie’s told the Daily Mail: ‘Kylie is a big fan of non-invasive treatments, which means there is no down time – and no covering up with a balaclava for the next few days.
‘Collagen waves are utterly painless, and very relaxing, and afterwards her skin is glowing. It’s a lot more natural than Botox, and doesn’t involve painful injections.
‘Kylie believes they have taken years off her, without given her a frozen, unnatural look.’

During the hour-long session a metal sheet is placed behind the back, and a heated roller is then manoeuvred around the face, neck and décolletage.
Radio frequency heats up deep layers of the skin and underlying tissue, causing deep collagen structures in the skin to tighten. This is said to boost the body’s own existing collagen levels and promotes the production of new collagen.
While Kylie has previously said she has used Botox, she has also said she’s given it up in favour of a more natural approach.
When it comes to makeup, the pop star favours creamy products and minimal powders in order to create an iridescent, camera-ready complexion.
Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Éclat and their Touche Éclat foundation are favourites, according to Glamour, as is Benefit’s Boi-ing Industrial-Strength Concealer.
