Michelle Bridges reveals the rule she has for Steve ‘Commando’ Willis when he films Survivor reboot

Fitness guru Michelle Bridges is used to keeping disciplined while training contestants on The Biggest Loser.  

But the mother-of-one’s partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis is getting a stern talking to ahead of his debut on the reboot of Australian Survivor.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, the 42-year-old e was adamant that he must stick to one deal-breaking rule while he films the show in Fiji.

‘No cuddling,’ Michelle, 47, has told her partner, insisting that he must have a ‘hands-off policy’ when it comes to his fellow camp mates, the paper reports.

But Michelle added that her beau had her ‘full support’ on this new journey he is about to embark on.

No-nonsense trainer Steve is without doubt one of the more famous faces to be announced for the show.

Champion swimmer Shane Gould, who won three gold medals at the 1972 Olympics has been cast, as well as footballer, Matt Rodgers.

The new format for the show will see 12 everyday Aussies take on 12 celebrities, with only one person crowned the ultimate survivor.   

Speaking to the publication, Steve said it was going to be tough not being able to see his family for the duration of filming.  

The in-shape trainer has two child with a former partner, Jack, 7, and Ella, 10, and a son Axel with Michelle.

‘It’s important to show my vulnerabilities, weaknesses and suffering and give permission to other everyday Aussies that it’s all right, too,’ he told the paper.

‘If the Commando can do this, people might think, ‘I can do that, too,’ and that’s something I’ve really made my life about over these past couple of years.’

In a surprise twist, the show will have a first prize of half a million dollars, when it debuts on August 1. 

The contest comes after a host of other reboots have been announced, including Dancing With The Stars and a possible new version of Sale Of The Century.
