MAFS’ Clare Verrall flaunts her incredible figure after weight loss

Earlier this year, Clare Verrall confessed she was ‘too embarrassed’ to leave her house after tipping the scales at 114kg.

But on Thursday night, the former Married At First Sight star made a triumphant return to the public eye, flaunting her newly slimmed-down frame.

The 34-year-old looked simply sensational as she arrived at a Make A Wish fundraiser in Melbourne, turning heads in a plunging top and tight leather skirt.

Unable to keep the smile off her face, a jubilant Clare looked to have lost all of the 44kgs she had gained over the course of 2017.

The busty blonde flashed her racy cut-out lingerie in a low cut-top which was tucked into a figure-hugging skirt.

She teamed the outfit with a pair of black thigh-high boots, and her hair and make-up was styled perfectly for the occasion.

Posing against the media wall, Clare was back to her best, looking like the days she first catapulted into the spotlight after her 2015 appearance on Married At First Sight.

The dog rescue advocate clowned around for the cameras, cuddling up with fellow MAFS stars Nick Furphy and Carly Bowyer.

In January of this year, Clare was spotted sporting a fuller figure as she walked her dog in her hometown of Melbourne.

At the time, Clare exclusively told Daily Mail Australia that her weight gain had left her housebound.

‘I went from 70kg to 114kg… ‘I have been avoiding going out or attending any events for the past year as I am very embarrassed by how out of control my weight has become,’ she said.

‘I have turned down events, would hide behind my friends in any photos, and avoided posting photos of myself on Instagram unless they were throwback photos.’

But Clare clarified there were several reasons behind her weight gain, including her ongoing struggle with PTSD, which she has spoken about in the past.

‘My body went into fight or flight mode,’ Clare spilled.

‘Your brain tells your body to store every ounce of fat as it thinks you are on “survivor” when in reality I was in bed eating poorly.’

She added: ‘It was also due to my back injury, stress, inability to exercise and poor food choices.’

Clare also confessed that while she had additional reasons for packing on the kilos, her self-described ‘extreme weight gain’ came down to her ‘lack of exercise’ and ‘poor diet’.

However, even in January, Clare had already kick-started her weight loss journey and was shedding the kilos.

She told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I have been doing a low-calorie diet (500 calories a day) plus walking after a second back surgery last year,’ she said, explaining she is aiming to get back to her original size.

And, judging by her sensational appearance at the Make A Wish foundation on Thursday night, it appears Clare has triumphantly achieved her goal.
