Jurgen Klopp is certainly not a manager to dwell on a defeat, and the football world found this out after the iconic German went viral singing a song with friends in the aftermath of Liverpool’s Champions League defeat.
The Reds fell to a 3-1 loss to Spanish giants Real Madrid in Kiev, spelling an end to a campaign where they smashed the goal-scoring record of European football’s elite competition.
While some were drowning their sorrows Klopp was having a sing with friends in a German punk band, and the footage quickly went viral.

Klopp was upbeat and has now admitted ‘everyone had a little bit too much alcohol’
Klopp and Co were heard singing about how Liverpool ‘saw the European Cup,’ but ‘Real Madrid had all the f****** luck.’
Having now been asked about that infamous video, Klopp was forthcoming with his response.
‘Well, everybody obviously had a little bit too much alcohol, and when that happens then you should put all smartphones away!’ said the German during an interview with Goal.
‘That’s the best advice.’
Some fans were still mulling over the final itself, in which two calamitous errors from goalkeeper Loris Karius ultimately cost the Reds the game.
The young ‘keeper had a difficult evening, which was made worse after suffering concussion courtesy of a stray elbow from Sergio Ramos.
Despite the lively nature of his singing exploits, Klopp was keen to ensure his upbeat nature did not mean he was unconcerned about the defeat.
Klopp has now tasted defeat in all of his last six finals as a manager — a run that started in 2013

‘But I can say this, with all I have, I want to win. I hate losing. I have had to learn to accept it but I still hate it,’ Klopp added.
‘But after the final whistle, I don’t waste my life suffering. I don’t take the defeat around with me, I go somewhere for a few moments and then I’m done.
‘It cannot help to carry it around. You have to put it away, you can’t go through the game again and say “but this and that”. The things from the game are obvious and I can talk about them, but I don’t feel them. That’s how it is.’
