Producers of the multi-million pound franchise and 007 actor Daniel Craig revealed the news in a tweet this afternoon.

It is unclear what the creative difference are which led to him not directing the new James Bond film. Pictured: Mr Boyle attends FX Networks’ annual all-star party in New York in March 2018
The new 007 film is set to be Daniel Craig’s fifth appearance as Bond, and is rumoured to be his last
No details about the differences have been revealed and it is unclear who will be taking over from Boyle.
The 25th, a so far untitled film, is the Bond spy franchise owned by MGM which is currently in production.
The film is scheduled for released in November 2019.
The Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire director was announced as the new director of the 25th Bond film back in May.
Filming for the new film had not yet begun, as EON productions revealed filming was due to start at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire in December.
Boyle, who won an Oscar for his work on Slumdog Millionaire, was due to direct from an original screenplay by John Hodge, who also worked on Trainspotting.
The new 007 film is set to be Daniel Craig’s fifth appearance as Bond, and is rumoured to be his last.
Craig has previously starred in Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre.
He previously stated that he would rather ‘slash my wrists’ than return to the role, but later said that he made the remarks two days after he finished shooting Spectre and was exhausted.

It has been widely rumoured that Idris Elba could take over the mantle as 007 should Daniel Craig step away.
Elba would become the first black James Bond should he be given the role, and he has fueled reports linking him to the job by posting cryptic tweets hinting at future involvement in the franchise.
Taking the famous James Bond catchphrase, the 45-year-old tweeted: ‘My name’s Elba, Idris Elba.’
And during a DJ set at Elrow in London on Sunday, Elba is said to have played the 007 theme tune during his set.
