For her transformation into LAPD detective Erin Bell, Nicole swapped her flawless blonde tresses for dishevelled darker locks.
Normally all smiles on the red carpet, Nicole sported a more subdued, weary expression for her new role.
And instead of the designer dresses and fancy attire the Australian native usually dons, this time around, she wore a simple grey shirt with no distinguishable details.

In the upcoming movie, Nicole’s character is traumatised after going undercover in a criminal gang.
Of the transformation Nicole had to undertake for the role, director Karyn Kusama told Vanity Fair that she wanted that character’s trauma to be evident in her appearance.
‘We always knew that what we wanted her to look like was a real middle-aged woman with a past that she wears on her face,’ she told the publication.
‘With sun damage and sleep deprivation and stress and rage, just in her whole physical body.’
