Michael Schumacher’s family have revealed the Formula 1 legend often ‘cries’ when he sees natural beauty around him for his wheelchair.
The German F1 champion suffered a catastrophic ski accident which left him in a coma in December 2013 and details of his condition since have been fiercely guarded by family.
However, now a ‘close relative’ has reportedly spoken with the French magazine ‘Paris Match’ and offered an insight in the 49-year-old’s current condition.

They say that family members are buoyed by the fact that Schumacher still shows emotions.
The relative reportedly said: ‘When you put him in his wheelchair facing the beautiful panorama of the mountains overlooking the lake, Michael sometimes cries.’

It comes as Schmacher’s son has said his ambition is to follow in his father’s footsteps and win in Formula One.
Mick Schumacher, 19, was with his father on the slopes when the F1 legend suffered the accident which left him in a coma.
‘He was my idol and I am following everything he did and see if I can use it myself and I am really happy with that,’ Mick said in an interview with 5 Live..
The teenager has been making strides in the world of motorsport winning his first victory in Formula Three at Spa Francorchamps, Belgium last month.
Now though, Mick says he is hoping to take his career up a gear with a potential move into Formula Two next year.
Mick said he is hoping to make the leap up to Formula Two if he can score a few more positive results this season
‘The goal is to win in F1, that is the aim. My dad had a huge influence on my career,”He was my idol and I am following everything he did and see if I can use it myself and I am really happy with that.’
‘You still have to show what you can do. That’s my goal. I want to prove that I am a proper racing driver and not only show I have got the same name.

Michael suffered a tragic skiing accident in 2013 while out with Mick on the slopes of Meribel, France and was placed in a medically induced coma due to catastrophic brain injuries.
He left hospital in September 2014 and has been receiving treatment from his home in Switzerland ever since – although little has been said about his condition to the world’s media.
Last week, his camp denied the Formula One legend is being moved to a £27million Majorcan mansion, refuting a report by a Swiss magazine.
Michael made his F1 debut at Spa in 1991 for Jordan and earned his first win in F1 the following year driving for Benetton.
And son Mick now says he wants to emulate his father but has his sights firmly focused on this season.

‘F3 is an important step for that, and the next step has to be Formula 2, but my goal is to step up and show what I can do,’ Mick said.
‘It is a category you have to go through if you want to be a complete racing driver. I am happy I made the step to F3 and I feel ready to push through.
‘I want to be a racing driver in F1 because that is where the best drivers are and I want to race against them and fight for it.
Formula Three is an important stepping stone on the pathway to Formula One, with past champions in the British series including F1 champions Ayrton Senna, Jackie Stewart, Jim Clarke, and Mika Häkkinen.
‘We have a lot of people in F1 who went through F3 and it is a point where you can show what you’ve got,’ Mick added.
‘I want to be a racing driver in F1 because that is where the best drivers are and I want to race against them and fight for it.
‘The pressure is one everybody. We all want to be the best and want to win.’
