With her ‘Barbie doll’ aesthetic, it would be easy to assume that the changes to Sophie Monk’s face over the years were the result of surgical intervention.
But according to Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon Dr. Randal Haworth, the Love Island Australia host, 38, has not actually gone under the knife.
‘It is human nature for people to jump to conclusions when a celebrity has even the slightest change in appearance. Suspicions and speculations about plastic surgery run wild and I believe Sophie Monk is among the accused!’ the CEO of DrHaworth.com told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday.

He continued: ‘Though critics have insisted she had a rhinoplasty or brow lift, I believe she may not have had actual surgery at all. Instead, I sense she took full advantage of some non-surgical cosmetic options.
‘For example, the fact that her forehead is smooth and devoid of normal wrinkles while her outside eyebrows are now higher indicates she was treated with Botox. When applied selectively, Botox not only minimizes wrinkles but can also lift certain facial features such as the eyebrow and the corner of the lips.’
Dr. Haworth also turned his attention to Sophie’s plump lips, absence of hollowing under her eyes and prominent cheeks – all signs of non-surgical intervention.

‘Lips get smaller with age not bigger but Sophie has defied that natural phenomenon, probably with the help of an injectable filler – such as Juvéderm, Restylane or even fat which is permanent,’ he said.
‘Furthermore, her past under-eye hollowing is now significantly less, again, most likely with a filler. In certain photographs, one can make out localised puffiness at her upper cheek near the nose, which is characteristic of a filler in that area.’
He added: I also believe another filler such as Voluma or Restylane Lyft is responsible for her more sculpted and elevated cheekbones.

‘This has now become a popular alternative to cheek bone augmentation with silicone implants since it is simple, widely available, less expensive and it entails significantly less recovery time.’
Sophie, who hails from Queensland’s Gold Coast, has admitted to having filler to her top lip in the past, following the botched removal of a cyst.
‘Half of my lip was removed with the cyst, and I was advised to get filler in my top lip to help balance it out,’ she told Who magazine in early 2011.

She regretted her decision, however, saying: ‘I should have said no to the filler in the first place but I trusted the doctor.
‘I’m so sick of people saying that just because of my lips, I’ve has surgery everywhere.’
While Sophie has confessed to having lip fillers, it has also been claimed she has undergone rhinoplasty – something she denies.

There was previously speculation she’d had a breast enlargement, but the former Bachelorette insisted in 2014 that her chest was real.
In fact, she claimed on 2DayFM that if she were to have surgery on that area it would be a breast reduction.
‘I want a boob reduction, they’re a 32D and at times a DD, and they get in the way when I do sports but doctors told me to leave them alone, women die for those things,’ she said at the time.
