Law enforcement arrested and charged a Texas man with voyeurism after he posed as a woman to enter a public restroom and filmed a person using the toilet.
Shawn Thomas Hallett, 38, reportedly donned wig, lipstick and other makeup to gain access to the QuickTrip convenience store bathroom in South Carolina.
He went unnoticed until the victim heard a man’s voice in the stall beside her, reports Associated Press.
According to Greenville law enforcement, a male spoke when she knocked on a door to see if it was vacant.
However, the woman continued to use the restroom after she spotted women’s shoes underneath the divider.
Authorities say Hallett tried to capture the woman using his phone using the space between the two stalls and when the woman noticed the device she called emergency services to the South Academy Street location.
