The 75th Venice Film Festival kicked off in style on Wednesday night, with the star-studded opening night for Neil Armstrong biopic First Man.

And Izabel Goulart was sure to dazzle as she stepped out in a glittering silver gown for the glamorous event at Sala Grande in the Italian city.

The beauty’s silver dress was cinched at the waist with three delicate rope-like belts, and she accessorised with dangling diamond earrings.

Izabel swiped her brunette locks into a dramatic side-parting, and styled her hair so that it fell across one shoulder in waves.

She was keen to accentuate her natural beauty, and highlighted her pretty features by brushing on light touches of make-up including light pink lipstick and mascara.

Claire Foy and Ryan Gosling led the star-studded arrivals at the festival, with the duo co-starring in one of this year’s top contenders.

Claire and Ryan opened the festival with their Neil Armstrong biopic, which has already been tipped for awards glory as it tells the tale of the iconic 1969 moon landing.

In First Man Claire plays Neil Armstrong’s first wife Janet Shearon who acts as a pillar of support for the spaceman ahead of the Apollo 11 mission, which is famously known as the moment man first set foot on the moon.

The La La Land star has reunited with the director of that film Damien Chazelle for his role as the iconic astronaut in First Man, with the pair hoping to strike awards glory yet again.

Naomi Watts, Christoph Waltz and Guillermo del Toro lead the Venice jury, which consists of five women and four men in an effort to readdress the imbalance that has occurred in previous years.

On September 8, the final day of the festival, Del Toro’s jury will be tasked with handing out the Golden Lion for Best Film, the Silver Lion – Grand Jury Prize, Silver Lion for Best Director, Coppa Volpi for Best Actor, Coppa Volpi for Best Actress, Award for Best Screenplay, the Special Jury Prize and the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best New Young Actor or Actress.
