MKR’s Jazzey Rooney set to star on dating show Take Me Out

She was rumoured to have had an on-set romance with My Kitchen Rules co-star Henry Terry.

And now Jazzey Rooney-O’Rourke has revealed that she’s set to star on Seven’s new dating show Take Me Out, premiering Monday September 3.

The 21-year-old waitress shared to Instagram Stories on Wednesday that she’s attracted to ‘tall, funny and loyal’ men. 

During an Instagram Story question and answer session, Jazzey excitedly shared the news that she’s set to star on Take Me Out, hosted by comedian Joel Creasey. 

Describing her ideal guy as someone who is ‘loyal, funny and respectful,’ the Perth beauty went to add that she’s attracted to ‘height, blue eyes and brown hair’.

Having not spoken to her former rumoured crush Henry Terry, Jazzey said that she genuinely doesn’t know if she will be able watch herself on the show.

British dating game show phenomenon Take Me Out returns to Australian screens on Monday September 3 at 7.30pm.

It previously featured as ‘Taken Out’, hosted by James Kerley, on Network Ten in 2008.

In a new way to find love, the show will feature 30 women who will be introduced to potential dates at one time, with each woman in possession of a switch to indicate whether they are into the said bachelor or not. 

To express their interest, they will switch their lights on, and if they are not interested their lights remain off – waiting for the next guy in line.

Jazzey debuted on reality TV on this year’s season of Seven’s cooking program, My Kitchen Rules.

Jazzey, along with best pal Stella Cain, were booted off the show in the semi-finals.

During her stint on My Kitchen Rules, the bubbly star was rumoured to have struck up a romance with co-star and hunky truffle farmer Henry Terry, 26.

However in April, following her time on the program, Jazzey told TV WEEK magazine: ‘There’s absolutely nothing with me and Henry in any way, shape or form.’  

Take Me Out premieres Monday September 3 at 7.30pm on the Seven network.
