- Liverpool welcome Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday
- Reds’ front three of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane are formidable
- But PSG boast attacking threat of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani
- ‘The fans are… in for a great spectacle. It’s going to be a real show’ – Thiago Silva
Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva believes his side’s clash with Liverpool will pit the world’s two best forwards lines against one another.
The Ligue 1 giants travel to Anfield on Tuesday night for their opening Champions League fixture of the season.
Liverpool reached the final last season thanks in no small part to the heroics of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in front of goal, while PSG boast the formidable trio of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Edinson Cavani.

Roberto Firmino is a doubt for the game but the Reds still have Sadio Mane (L) and Mo Salah (R)
Firmino is a fitness doubt ahead of the game but Silva nevertheless predicts fireworks when the two attacking juggernauts collide.
‘We’ve got to be prepared, start well and hopefully we can go back home with a good result,’ he said on Monday.
‘It’s all about us. That’s what we’ve got to do – we’ve got to be focused on ourselves. We’ve got to be prepared because I know the fans are going to be in for a great spectacle. It’s going to be a real show of football.

‘I know the fans are going to be in for a great spectacle’, PSG captain Thiago Silva said
‘You are looking at probably the two strongest club forward lines in world football – three attackers on each side that can entertain and provide a threat all the way through the match.
‘We’ll be talking between now and (the game) and the best way of approaching the game tactically, but as I say, it’s going to be some kind of show.’
In the other game in Group C, Italian giants Napoli travel to Red Star Belgrade.
