An Indian factory supervisor is being sought by police after a prank he played on a subordinate went horribly wrong.

Rakesh Wagmore held a compressed air pipe to the rectum of worker Aditya Jadhav, who suffered such severe intestinal damage he died two weeks later. 

The tragic incident occurred at a foundry in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra, India, earlier this month.

CCTV footage shows Mr Jadhav approaching his supervisor Mr Wagmore on the factory floor to ask something.

Mr Wagmore, who is holding the air pressure pipe, jokingly holds it against Mr Jadhav’s hair and back to blow compressed air on him. 

He then holds the pipe to Mr Jadhav’s rectum, and the factory worker immediately collapses in agony.

He was rushed to a hospital, where he battled fatal injuries for 15 days before he passed away on September 18.

Doctors who attended to Mr Jadhav, said his intestines were severely damaged. 

Local police are investigating the incident and are looking for Mr Wagmore, who has been missing since the day of the incident.
