Home and Away’s Ada Nicodemou reveals her gruelling workout regime

Home and Away starlet Ada Nicodemou is often praised for her age-defying looks on the red carpet. 

And now, the 41-year-old has revealed how she keeps herself so trim, after she shared one of her gruelling workouts on social media.  

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Ada shared a short clip of herself getting down to business as she curled a heavy barbell at the gym.

Clearly enjoying herself, the brunette soap star lifted the weights effortlessly as she also let fans in on her at-home program. 

Ada, who shot to fame as a teenager on beloved soap Heartbreak High, captioned the snap with the workout routine.

Ada went on to say she did four sets of 20 squats, 20 walking lunges, and a one-minute plank, which worked out her core and legs. 

Meanwhile, not one to forget about her arms, Ada added into the workout 20 rows, 20 tricep dips, 50 bicep curls and 50 push-ups. 

Known for her love of health and fitness, Ada doesn’t let her busy lifestyle get in the way of her healthy eating plan.

Speaking to WHO magazine in June, the veteran soap actress revealed her ‘strict’ eating plan when she revealed her day on a plate.   

The brunette beauty, who is dating millionaire businessman Adam Rigby, typically starts her day with an omelette with spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms, and a black coffee.

A morning snack of cottage cheese and tuna, or half a protein bar, a handful of almonds and a piece of fruit keeps her metabolism going and hunger pangs at bay. 

Her go-to lunch is a salad with tuna or chicken for protein, followed by a three-quarter coffee with milk.  

A healthy afternoon snack staves off the 3pm slump and typically consists of a slice of ham with a couple of boiled eggs or a slice of cheese.

Dinner is built around protein – from either fillet steak, grilled chicken or grilled fish – with green leafy vegetables or salad.

Her after-dinner treat is a soothing cup of chamomile tea spiced with cinnamon, and a piece of dark chocolate with chilli on occasion. 

The Greek Cypriot-born actress added that she does allow herself ‘a couple of cheat days’ every once in a while, however. 

‘It’s OK to cheat, just be really strict the rest of the time,’ she explained of her meal plan.
