Meghan Markle replica engagement ring is on sale by Buckingham Palace

Meghan mania is still in full force four months after the royal wedding, and now her fans can emulate one of the most iconic parts of the big day.

Buckingham Palace is selling a replica of the Duchess of Sussex’s engagement ring for just £30.

The official royal memorabilia website, The Royal Collection shop, says the crystal ring is ‘inspired’ by the rock given to Meghan, 37, by her now husband Prince Harry, 34, upon their engagement last autumn.

Also on sale is a pair of £25 earrings and a £30 pendant necklace that are based on the ring design.

The replica ring is made with three crystals set on an adjustable band, which is made of palladium plated metal.

It is presented in a white ring box emblazoned with Harry and Meghan’s intertwined initials.

The Buckingham Palace website reads: ‘The design of this new statement range, is inspired by the engagement ring of Meghan Markle.’

The matching necklace has the same triple crystal design held on the end of a palladium plated chain.

The 'Meghan Markle effect' is estimated by experts to bring £150 million to the British fashion industry in the form of unofficial brand endorsements. Pictured: Harry and Meghan on their wedding day in Windsor in May

Every time she is photographed and pictures of her outfits are shared, the websites of the designers experience a surge in traffic and in turn, sales.

Meghan’s white Line the Label ‘power coat’, that she wore during the announcement of her engagement, sold out within 12 hours.

According to David Haigh, CEO of the British consultancy that specialises in brand valuation, Brand Finance, Meghan Markle could contribute £150 million to the British fashion industry in the form of unofficial brand endorsements.

She ‘will quickly match or even surpass the Duchess of Cambridge in her incredible influence on the fashion industry’, Haigh said before the wedding.
