Susan Boyle’s returning to the stage after some time away.

The Scottish singer will appear on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, which is coming to NBC soon. She’ll be competing against other winners from around the world. 

America’s Got Talent: The Champions is the brainchild of Simon Cowell, who’s said to be responsible for Susan’s return.

A source told The Sun: ‘Simon was delighted Susan agreed to come back.’ 

He’ll serve as judge and executive producer on the spin-off competition series.

‘I have always wanted to have a competition show for the very best of the best Got Talent acts from around the world,’ Simon said in a statement about America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

‘The variety and the talents of the acts who enter Got Talent globally are incredible and unbelievable. 

‘Since America’s Got Talent was where it all started, I’m absolutely delights to be launching this on NBC,’ Simon added.

It’s unclear at this time which other past Got Talent winners are slated to appear. 

Who is Susan Boyle?

Susan Boyle is a Scottish musician, born April 1, 1961. She was first recognized when she appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009.

She released her first album, I Dreamed a Dream, in November 2009. The album set a record for biggest first week sales of a debut album according to the Official Chart Company of the United Kingdom.

The album was also the UK’s best-selling debut album of all time.

Susan released a second album, called The Gift, in 2010. The album helped her to become the third act to ever top both United States and UK charts at the same time.

Her third album, Someone to Watch Over Me, followed in 2011. It debuted at No. one on the UK music charts. Home for Christmas and Hope were released in the years that followed.

Susan has been nominated for two Grammy Awards.

She was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome in 2012 and went public in an interview with the BBC in 2013.

America’s Got Talent: The Champions

America’s Got Talent: The Champions is a Got Talent spin-off. The show will bring back the most memorable acts from previous seasons in the hopes of being crowned the winner in the end.

Competitors from 184 countries are expected to appear on the show’s first season.

Simon Cowell will executive produce America’s Got Talent: The Champions. He’ll also serve as a judge.

Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel will join him on the judge’s panel.

America’s Got Talent: The Champions premiere date

NBC’s America’s Got Talent: The Champions website reveals that the show will premiere this winter, but doesn’t provide an exact date for the premiere.

America’s Got Talent: The Champions will air on NBC. The network hasn’t announced which night of the week or time the show will be on.
