Sarah Silverman blamed President Trump for the recent acts of terror across the US and mocked his stance on border security in a fiery new monologue for her television program, I Love You, America.
The 47-year-old stand-up comic insisted in this week’s half-hour program that the president is responsible for the ‘epidemic of domestic terrorism’ that broke out early last week.
Silverman said in the new monologue: ‘Trump knows the only way they can energize their base is through fear… he riles them up by starting a fake fight with a made up enemy.
‘He starts fake fights that he doesn’t have to finish because he knows in one way or another, someone will finish them for him. That is his starring role in our current epidemic of domestic terrorism.
‘It’s how we end up with 14 bombs to 14 people he has publicly targeted over and over again.
‘A racist shooting in Kentucky, an anti-Semitic massacre in Pittsburgh… all in less than a week of announcing that he is a nationalist.’

The Punching Henry actress slammed Trump’s decision to deploy more than 5,200 troops to the Southwest border this week – just days ahead of the November 6 midterm elections.
The troops will join some 2,000 existing National Guard members who have been servicing US Customs and Border Protection vehicles, monitoring surveillance and installing concrete barriers, among other jobs.
The troops will still be restricted from detaining asylum seekers under a federal law that prevents active-duty members from doing so on American soil.
Silverman said in the program: ‘Well, Trump is deploying thousands of armed soldiers to the border to stop human beings fleeing danger from legally-seeking asylum.
‘Operation Faithful Patriot… that sounds like a directed DVD starring Kevin Sorbo, but an Army ranger who uses the power of prayer to help gun down brown people… it is so pandering,’ she quipped.
‘Sending troops to the border or floating the idea of overturning birthright citizenship, these are just attempts to motivate his base right before midterms.’

Former Customs and Border Protection commissioner Gil Kerlikowske also called the operation ‘a political stunt and a waste of military resources and tax dollars.’
Kerlikowske said: ‘To use active-duty military and put them in that role, I think is a huge mistake. I see it as nothing more than pandering to the midterm elections by the president.’
Silverman suggested in another salacious remark that the troops will be doing nothing this month but sitting at the border playing UNO, aka, ‘j***ing off’.
The comedienne further encouraged her viewers to get out and vote or face the consequences.
‘So next week, you know, think about voting. We’ve gotta vote leaders into power that will see through the fear mongering and the fake panic… because if it’s not immigrants, it will be the media.
‘If it’s not the media, it will be some other made up enemy… or, the classic fallback: Jews.’
