Teenage girl among at least three people injured after a truck careers through a McDonald’s car park and smashes into a unit block
Multiple people have reportedly been injured after a truck hit a fire hydrant and four vehicles in a McDonald’s car park, before slamming into a block of units.
Seven ambulance units responded to the incident at the Fairy Meadow McDonald’s restaurant, a suburb near Wollongong, on Monday about 11am.
Paramedics are treating a number of patients including a 35-year-old male in a serious condition, a 17-year-old female and a woman in her 50’s with minor injuries.

The truck driver in his 20’s is being treated for lower back injuries.
McDonald’s staff were seen comforting each other outside the store following the incident.
Footage from the scene showed a strong burst of water spurting from the top of a truck, as police and onlookers stood watch nearby.
There appeared to be fallen poles and a burst pipe on the outskirts of the car park
