Cyclists in New South Wales are now subjected to fines of $330 for riding without a helmet after new rules were introduced by roads minister Duncan Gray last year.

The fine for not complying increased from $71 to $319 when it was introduced.

Meanwhile on Sunday, Elle took a nasty tumble outside a florist in Sydney.
Elle fell as she left the shop and attempted to make her way to a parked car outside.
On Thursday, she was mocked by a bystander for the fall, when she left her Welleco beauty launch at Bondi Icebergs.
‘No falling today?’ a male voice could be heard saying as the age-defying beauty made her way to a waiting car.
However the statuesque star took the comment in her stride and smiled to fans as she made her exit.
‘Thank you guys!’ the Australian icon said as she successfully planted both feet into the waiting vehicle.
