Furious fans are demanding refunds after attending ‘the worst concert ever’ over the weekend.
RnB Fridays Live was held in Melbourne on Saturday night at Marvel Stadiums. The event was organised by Frontier Touring and Fox FM, featuring major names like Usher, T-Pain and Salt n’ Pepa.
Thousands of fans have vented their frustration online, claiming poor sound quality, as well as long wait times for food and drinks.

‘Went there for RnB fridays and it was the worst concert experience I have ever had. Sound was terrible! Never again!’ one person said.
Tickets cost between $111.83 and $183.20.
Multiple videos have been posted showing the sound issues.
‘Listening (back) to all my videos u can hear just how bad the sound is.. it’s such a pitty.. and to be honest I won’t be surprised if the artist ripped them a new one and just put a front on for us,’ another fan said.
‘Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to hear clearly there is sound issues,’ another person said.

Fans have also claimed there were safety issues at the event.
Sabrina DiGiambattista paid $183 for her ticket but fears for her safety meant she was forced to leave early.
She even missed out on seeing Usher, who she said she was dying to see.
The 29-year-old claimed tickets to standing areas were oversold and feared she was going to be squashed. She said it was ‘more like a mosh pit than a standing area’.
‘It was so packed you couldn’t move without bumping into someone, very tightly packed in, it became claustrophobic, there were drinks in open plastic cups not cans like at other events,’ she said.

‘Due to this people were spilling drinks everywhere due to being bumped into, the floor was sticky and wet, if there had been an emergency or evacuation I firmly believe a fatal crush or stampede could have occurred.’

Kelly Rebecca posted on the page that she has been left ‘extremely dissatisfied’ with her experience.
‘From standing in a massive line 2 hours after gates opened for half an hour. To standing in the line for the toilet for half an hour. To standing in line for a drink for half an hour. To standing in a line to get down the stairs to Premium Standing for half an hour. I’m not sure what part of the concert I actually experienced.’

‘From artists being out of whack with their music, to the muffled sounds that were distorting from the speakers. It was embarrassing to listen too.’
In a statement to Hack, Melbourne Stadiums Limited and the event organisers for RNB Fridays Live have said they will following up all concerns regarding Saturdays event.
‘RNB Fridays Live event on Saturday night was hugely popular with over 50,000 people attending.
‘While some of the concerns raised were addressed on the night, we understand that some of our guests remain dissatisfied by their experience.’
