Venus Williams has made it through to the second round of the Australian Open after coming from a set down to beat Romania’s Mihaela Buzarnescu.
The unseeded American struggled in the early stages and lost the first set in a tie break on the Margaret Court Arena.
Williams fought back though and took the second in a tie break of her own before wrapping up the contest 6-2 in the third and decisive set.
