American Idol creator Simon Fuller has again listed his lavishly renovated mansion in Beverly Hills after slashing the price to $15.9 million.
At that price, the British reality TV and music entrepreneur would make a decent profit, after snapping up the five-bedroom home for $8.5 million in July, 2005.
But it’s $5 million below his initial asking price, when he listed the mansion for sale at $21.5 million in 2014, and again at $19.995 million in 2015, with no takers.
Breathtaking: Simon Fuller listed his renovated Beverly Hills home on the market for $15.9 million, almost twice the amount he paid for in 2005
The 8,000 sq ft. home has been named the ‘crown jewel’ of one of Beverly Hill’s finest streets.
The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion, located on almost an acre of land, combines a traditional elegance with modern sophistication.
Conveniently located near the Beverly Hills Hotel and Rodeo Drive, the massive home sits on a cul de sac with terraces that overlook the Marmol Radziner designed pool and a detached guest house.
Simon’s home offers privacy with walled and gated doors as it sits on a lot of approximately 38,000 square feet.

In addition, French doors in several rooms overlook a mountainous view.

Simon first gained acclaim as the manager of Spice Girls and went on to work with Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
This listing comes amid a court motion that would cause the 56-year-old to lose out on 10 percent profit share from his created-shows, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
This development follows a growing argument between Simon and the shows’ parent company, Core Media, that filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April after Fox cancelled Idol.
There is no word on where he is planning to move next, however, the LA Times reported that the British entrepreneur bought another home in Los Angeles in 2014 and sold two apartments in the Plaza Hotel, according to Forbes.
